Description

Hermetic immersion heater is designed for heating water in tanks where standard threaded heaters cannot be screwed in. The heater has a shell and head made of AISI 316L stainless steel, nickel-plated brass gland and silicone cable, resistant to mechanical damage and continuous working temperature up to 180 degrees Celsius.

The heating element is designed to be able to work both with a single-phase 230V power source and - for higher power - with a two-phase 400V voltage. The tubular part of the heater is softened, the user can bend it and adapt it to the shape of the tank, as well as for optimal temperature distribution. Minimum safe bending radius 25 mm. It is best to place the heater at the bottom of the tank. If the heater is used in a plastic tank (such as an IBC), move the heater away from the walls to avoid damaging them.

At 230V voltage and 1750W power, the surface load is ~2.9W/cm2. The heater is often used to heat other liquids than water (eg oils, solutions that do not react with the substances used, contaminated water, thin syrups, semi-finished products of animal origin, etc.).

At 400V voltage and 5300W power, the surface load is ~8.6W/cm2 and the heater is only used to heat water and non-reactive solutions.

Heaters are commonly used for heating and maintaining a positive temperature in IBC tanks or fire-fighting tanks.

The standard length of the connecting cable is 5 meters.

Heaters are usually delivered straight. It is possible to bend the heater into the shape shown in the photo, please indicate this in the comments when ordering.
